MY SPECIALITIES
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling will be mostly non-direct art therapy approach to explore one's feelings, experiences, and challenges.
I may incorporate other therapeutic approaches like CBT (Cognitive Behaviour therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), mindfulness, psychoeducation, somatic, and compassionate exercises with art therapy to improve individual's self-expression and goals.
Group CounsellingÂ
In a group counselling, I will facilitate 5 or 10 sessions for a group of five to eight people. This will be based on the number of people and interest on similar interventions.
The group counselling will have more direct art therapy approaches. These sessions will have common goals and outcomes to explore group interactions and discoveries.
Asylum Seekers/Refugee
I have experience working with people who have to uproot their life unexpectedly to seek for a safer place for oneself and for their family and future.
I value and embrace different cultures and I understand I may not fully know their hardship but I find it humbling to work with them to find their healing. Especially, they have endured, sacrificed, and loss a lot.

*Individuals who do not speak fluent English are welcome to receive therapy. I have experience working with interpreters. I will provide an interpreter if required (according to language, dialect/region, prefer gender).
Stress & Trauma
Stress can be caused by unexpected events or amount of pressure from many things.

Trauma could be a singular or multiple uncontrolled experiences that may have been life-threatening and/or unsettling and life changing that affected you.
In therapy, we will work where you are most comfortable to build better self-regulation (improve sleep, focus, and mental and physical health).

ADHD and/or Autism
I find people living with disability(ies) have a lot of abilities and goals.

In therapy, I will work with you to find the right art therapy exercises to support your needs. For example, people living with ADHD and/or Autism are in different spectrum. Art therapy is part of their virtual strength, which will further enhance their communication, motor skills, and emotional regulation.

AngerÂ
Anger is harder to keep inside when someone has been let down, hurt, and feeling frustrated or threatened.

Therapy is a safe space for one to speak about what caused these feelings of anger.
Anxiety

Anxiety can be an emotion one may feel when they are excited about something and worried about it failing. Or anxiety can be other things troubling one's confidence and/or control.

Does this resonate with you? In therapy, we can explore your anxiety and how to understand and manage it.
Depression/ Low Mood
Feeling isolated and low mood can develop into depression. This may keep oneself away from exploring new opportunities.

In therapy, you will discover your self care and build up your self-confidence and support system.
